Riding the "Best Descent"

I've been enjoying a lot of off road riding these last few days now that I'm back home. I had to stop and take a picture of this today - one of the descents in our area. And yes, that is a huge drop to the left - later you actually skirt along the edge.

I had bone dry trails for the last few days, but today things started to get wet again :(

Are trails are all frozen at the moment, fine till you hit ice!

Not familiar with that descent... Where is it?

yeah, that's a nice one alright - pretty difficult in sections where there's troughs that you can't steer out of, and that sliddery rock you have to go over is a tough one, I've yet to clear it/attempt it properly - the slidderyness and the drop freaks me out a bit...

The descent is from Djouce. Lots of fun.

Fergal, on the Saturday we met you guys up there it was okay (ish) to ride but on the Sunday (I took Mel down it too) I took the photo it was wet and sketchy and I didn't even think about attempting - just way to dangerous. The rest of the section in the forest is just amazing - so fast and flowy.

Stephen, I'll drop you a mail :)
